i bought 50% vodka this time instead of 40%, will that get me drunk faster?

im drunk and either way im drunk 50% or 40%. i appreciate all of the answers even the dumb ones.

yes, 50% alcohol has more alcohol in it than 40% per the same volume. oz for oz, cup for cup, gallon for gallon, and yes, the higher the alcohol content, the faster you will get drunk. vodka that is 50% is 100 proof, unlike 40% which is 80 proof, just like the prev post says.

If you drank the same quantity in the same amount of time, at the same temperature, and with the same stomach contents, yes.

If you don't understand what a percentage is, you are far, far too young to be drinking. Vodka can kill you. By comparison, domestic beer (like Coors, or Bud) has less than 6% alcohol by volume.

You could drink, roughly, 20 times more beer than vodka before it kills you dead as a tack. Stick with beer or wine, if you're new to drinking.

50% is 100 proof and will get you drunk a little faster than 40% which is 80 proof.

The percentage means what percent of the drink is acohol. The higher the percentage the more concentration of alcohol and also the easier of you getting drunk.

40% alcohol means that what you have in the bottle is 40% alcohol and 60% something else.

its the percentage of alcohol to water after being distilled. i.e 40% alcohol to.....
