Jesus only told one person verbally that he was God, and that was the woman at the well. In my paraphrase, he said, Excuse me woman, but would you give me a drink. She is a Samaritan or "half-breed Jew" and Jews are not supposed to talk to half jews. So she is like hey, you can't talk to me. And he is like so. And she says well how are you going to get a drink, this well is deep and you have no bucket. he says i can give you water that can make you never thirsty. He says go get your husband and bring him back here so that he can have some of this too. She says, oh, but i have no husband, and Jesus says, yeah that is right, because you have 5. and the man you are sleeping with now is not your husband. I am Jesus son of the living God. And then he preaches some more to her, but there you go.

You don't need a priest or pastor to tell you this.
But unto the Son, he saith, Thy throne, Oh God, is forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. -Hebrews 1:8.
Jesus is God.

Jesus included himself in the "formula" for authority in baptism...
Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 So you must go and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And you can be sure that I am always with you, to the very end.”
"All authority" puts HIM in the preeminent position.

As I recall, and I may be wrong, I don't believe he ever did. I think the closest he came was to say that the only way to God was through him.
