How long do police have to turn in a dui in FL after the arrest. they still have not turned in the paperwork so how much time do they have before t is too late?

Normally it's three hours to proform a an alcohol test. After that it won't stand up in court.

There no time limit in turning the paperwork or if you refuse to take the test.

All States have a statute of limitations, usually 1 to 3 years. However, I suspect the delay here has more to do with normal paperwork. Expect a notice within 30 days.

if it is related to a traffic accident - prolly 7 days

they may be awaiting lab results

just be thankful it's not Oregon where they impound your vehicle for DUI/DWI
