I have a sony mavica fd95 and i am trying to become a paid photographer :) . i would like to print my pictures out at home from my memory stick if possible, with the best quality i can get at home at an affordable price. i also want to be able to print up to 8x10 photos - any suggestions on the best home printer?

We use Epsons for all of our short run work in our custom lab. The results are exceptional. (this model will also print on CD/DVD's)

Epson and Canon are the obvious choices. Epson's print heads have to be cleaned rather frequently unless you print every day. (I have had 3 Epsons, and this was the case with all.) Now I have an Epson and a Canon. great output from both printers.

Stay away from Lexmark. Some people like HP, but I think if you compare prints, the Canon or Epson do better.
