Vodka recipes?

Question

I am looking for some good drinks with either vodka or rum in them. I like more of a sweet drink. Anybody have any good ones I can try? Nothing too complicated.

Not so much a recipe as a serving style.

Take a 2-liter bottle and cut the top off. Put a fifth bottle of vodka inside. Fill the plastic bottle with water until it just reaches below the neck of the vodka bottle. Add fresh flowers, pine needles, whatever you like to the water.

Freeze. The vodka will remain ice cold. Just cut away the plastic bottle and you've got an attractive way to serve your vodka at your next party.

First let me give you some Old bartenderly advise, the more sugar or sweeter the drink the worse you will feel the next day. If you over do it that is. My drink of choice is vodka and water with a squeeze of lime, next fave is to take a can of chunk pineapple pour it into a large container and pour the vodka into that and put it in the fridge for a week, after the week take a glass put in a shot of the pineapple vodka add a teaspoon of sugar and a squeeze of lime juice stir until the sugar is disolved add ice and fill the glass with club soda. Great summer drink.

I had an awesome drink the other day, it was rum, ginger ale and cranberry juice(a splash, just enough to turn it pink). called a pink lady.
