Well I'm sure they will but like when will they make a movie about Barbaro? Because I'm almost positive they will because he was such a great horse. Do you think they will? And about when should they?

If by some chance someone in Hollywood does decide to do this, they should make the movie about more than just the colt's life. I have long understood that there's another, much bigger Cinderella-type story connected with Barbaro's- namely, that involving the life and career of the colt's trainer, Michael Matz. This was a story that was virtually ignored by most of the popular press up until the horse won the Derby and the catastrophic events that followed. How many Olympic caliber athletes have you heard of that are also lifesavers and genuine heroes? There just aren't that many of them. Granted, there have been Olympic competitors who have gone on into the field of medicine and the sciences, but there is almost no one who can make the kind of claims that have been made about Michael Matz. Some have said that he has led a charmed life- but I'm not so sure that's true. Sooner or later, someone in Tinsel Town is going to wake up and recognize the value of Michael's story- in fact, I'm actually somewhat surprised it hasn't happened already. Perhaps when the time comes, they will make a movie about both Barbaro and his trainer. I'll be the first in line to see it if that ever happens. As to when, maybe in a few years, when things have settled down somewhat.

I highly doubt they would make a movie. Barbaro was an amazing horse. He made us believe that miracles could happen. But they usually only would make a movie if he had survived and went on to become an amazing sire or something along that line. Other than that it is highly unlikely that a movie will come out.

I don't see a movie coming out about Barbaro, but That horse could run like the wind.

I wouldn't be surprised because he touched so many and we would probably learn everything that was done for him at the hospital, that would be interesting to see.
