That would depend on how overweight you are to begin with. In general weight loss should be at about 1 to 2 lbs a week. But if one is obese a greater weight loss is not overly concerning, especially in the first couple of weeks when you are losing a lot of water weight.
Main concerns of losing too much weight too quickly would be losing muscle along with fat, improper nutrition(one would have to think you are not eating enough to be losing so quickly), and a great chance on gaining all of the weight back (and possibly more) after dieting is over.

It shouldn't do anything serious, but you should only lose 3 pounds a week at most. Make sure you you are eating necessary nutrients and drinking plenty of water. It can get dangerous when you don't keep yourself hydrated.

Well I think I lost 10 pounds when I stopped eating carbs for only two weeks and I was and am fine. I guess its not unhealthy. It just depends on how you lost that weight really.

As long as you're eating healthy, and exercising to lose it....Pretty much as long as your losing it in a healthy way...(pretty much not eating is unhealthy) Drink lots of water too!
