Well, theres this guy I met recently that I like, but I'm not sure what he thinks of me. We don't really talk in person but on IM he is always first to message me and he talks a lot. However, at school its like he doesn't even know me. We pass eachother in the halls many times but he just walks past me without even looking at me and the one time I did see him look at me he quickly turned away...so what does this all mean?

This means that he is not a confident guy who understands what good he has got with you. You should talk to him on the internet and be like "Why do you ignore me at school?" If he cant think of a good reason, he isnt worth your time.

Hmmm.... this could mean a lot of things. He may actually like you but is afraid of what his friends would think. That could be why he ignores you at school. The only way you will ever know for sure is by asking him. IM him and talk to him about it. Tell him you want to know what's going on. If it turns out he likes you only as a friend then accept it and try and remain friends.

He likes you because if you caught him looking at you then he was admiring you. The reason for him not talking to you in person is he may shy. He does like you theres no doubt about that. But sorry to say I wouldn't let him ignore me, that's not cool. Next time the two of you are chatting ask him about it but don't be rude and don't let that be the first thing you say to him.

He has a crush on you. He is just scared to talk in person, (probably shy). Make the first move to help get things out in the open.

Be patient and give him some time, it sounds as if he may be shy and "talking" on the computer gives him freedom while in person, he may be embarrassed of saying or doing the wrong thing in front of you.

I'm sorry to say, but there's nothing to it. Kind of a kid stuff. As long as neither one of you come out and try something that might work out, all this is just means nothing.

It means he's a jerk. He's willing to talk to you when there's no one around, but won't be seen with you in public.
