I felt some of the psychics out there might be for real. But after the whole Sylvia Brown thing, I'm having doubts.

Check out Lisa WIlliams. She has a show on Lifetime, and she's incredible. She'll change your mind.

I have researched Sylvia Browne and she is a fraud. She charges an insane amount of money, and in some cases even causes harm to police cases, and false information to families.

I used to believe that psychics exist also, after numerous false psychics and no significant evidence I became more of a skeptic. I very much doubt anyone has any psychic abilities.

I have included a link so that I am not judged to be hateful and closed minded.

Edit:
Check out James Randi's site. He is a professional magician that has disproved multiple psychics. I have included the link in the source.

There is no such thing as psychic powers.

About 12 years ago I briefly thought that one guy in Canada going by a name like "Curly Earl" or "Earl Curly" (I never did figure it out) might be real. He claimed to be able to predict the future. I asked him to make some specific predictions, and when I asked, I really thought there was a chance he'd come back with something interesting. He didn't. Instead he claimed to have predicted all sorts of things that had already happened. He seemed genuinely surprised that I didn't agree that was a test of the ability to predict the future, and he argued with me, told more stories about past events he'd supposedly predicted, and responded to my requests that he instead predict the future with increasing belligerence and insults. He called me "narrow-minded" and "dishonest", but he never came through with any predictions of the future - just repeated claims that he could make such predictions.

Finally he sent me a file encoded in some strange way that I couldn't read, and claimed that it held the predictions I'd been asking for. When I pointed out that he'd been able to send me everything else in readable form but now his file of predictions was mysteriously the ONLY thing that had come in some odd file format, he lost it, and sent me a very direct physical threat. I reported him to his ISP and cut off contact entirely.

Sylvia Browne is also a deliberate fake, as are many other "psychics". The remainder are simply people who are just especially out-of-touch with the world around them.

Thank you for this question. I've never believed in psychics and Sylvia Brown is definitely no reassurance. No psychics are specifically accurate, Sylvia Brown is just more famous and has more influence, making her poor decisions even more poor.

Everyone can make mistakes uno. Look what happened in the garden of Eden. Wrong Tree!! Maybe she should use a better service or got her lines crossed. It happens uno. If she was right all of the time she would be the Miss-siah? Who is the false Prophetess? I'm sure there are so many to choose from. Even Remote Viewing isn't accurate. I don't hold it against her though. Uno with all of the cell phones and other junk in space it must be even harder to get a true signal. You don't suppose that the tower of Babel was the first communications tower do you?

I havelistened to Sylvia brown and all I got to say about this she would be used so well if she was living for God. She has a gift which would be used in the spiritual realm for God as prophetic and she is using her gift for the enemy. She does not talk to the dead who she really is talking to or seeingis the devil and his workers.

I don't believe in psychics like that. I believe all humans have a sixth sense like that, some just embrace it more than others. But pulling "facts" out of the air like that...come on.

The Bible calls Sylvia Brown a "necromancer." Being on friendly terms with the spirits of dead people is not possible. The spirits she is friendly with are demons under Satanic influence. The one who directs them has been called "the father of lies."

Even so-called "white witches" are still witches. There are dark powers behind their good deeds, because their acts are designed to deceive people away from true faith in God.

I worry she may be getting information about things from a few too many sources. I checked out a cuople of websites about her, and I'm thinking if she has built up a church to get money, I am thinking that there is something self-centered about what she is doing. It may be that she has help from more than one kind of spirit.

What happened?? I haven't heard! I never liked her much or believed her. She's always too vague. But I do believe some people have psychic powers.
