When I am transferred to the Trans Union web site from annualcredit report.com, all I can see are offers for credit reporting products and the option to order them. There are no pointers to the free yearly credit report. How do I get the free report from this web site?

Went through the same nonsense, and used the telephone..No problem at all. Very quick and easy, and you will get a letter in the mail in a few days. Don't have the number handy but there are three reporting companies. Too much info is worse than none at all. Best wishes

You are by law entitled to a FREE credit report from each of the reporting agencies(there are three major companies). Experian, TRW, and right off hand I can't think of the name of the other one. Go on line and put into search Credit Reporting Agencies. When you look at the results you will find them. They have a form, or they also have a phone number that will get you a copy. Be aware they do not normally give your "credit score". I had mine sent to me so if I had any questions I had the hard copy to compare to my records. If you find a mistake or feel someone has misreported your information you can get it changed. Be aware that every time someone checks your credit it generates a notation, to many and your "credit score" goes down. If you are recieving a lot of offers for credit you should stop them. Do the opt out or call them and tell them you do not wish any more offers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I assume you entered all your information on the annual credit report site and then clicked next, picked transunion and the clicked next and it transferred you to the site. If so, then you should have a screen with offers for you to check on and an accept button on the bottom. Don't check anything off and click on accept. I don't remember, but it may then ask if you want to add a credit score for a fee, yes or no, click no. Then you should have a screen with a tab that says credit report. Click the tab and view your report.
Hope that helps
