wd: Are you saying God talked to you? You must be very blessed indeed, I have listened for a long time now and even though the God/Goddess reveiled to me many things, I have heard not a word.

All these are related,
All these are relatives.
O You, Power, there where the sun goes down:
You are a relative.
O You, Power, where the Giant lives:
You are a relative.
O You, where the sun comes from:
You are a relative.
O You, Power, there where we always face:
You are a relative.
That relative!
The earth is our relative.
These Four are our relatives.
We are all related.
We are all one.
Wallace Black Elk, The Sacred Pipe.
-----In this case, two puns make two rights.
Making four rights brings you back where you started from. The Hoop. The Sacred Circle.

Who is Black Elk?
I do not subscribe to ANY religion
Religion is the square peg in the round hole of spirituality
But, I think that any religion that speaks of separation is on to something.
Because separation,, or the elimination of same by atonement (At Onement) is the only purpose of our experience of this Interactive Virtual Reality movie called Life.

Good point about the difference between Truth and belief. Truth, in the Universal sense, unites to God. Yet that union to God must - by definition - mean separation from that which is not of God! If you believe ALL is God, then you are never going to see that. But I'm not here to argue. Your Q is intriguing and I want to get the measure of it.
One answerer shed light referring to religious people who believe in separation, having nothing to do with others. That is false religion. The Christian faith commands me to mix with others, especially those who don't believe as I do, to be salt and light in a putrifying and sin-darkened world. Jesus "went about doing good". He mixed with sinners and was despised by the self-righteous for doing that. But Christ shunned all sinful deeds and thoughts, and clearly warned of the consequences of pursuing sin. Yet he had mercy on them, healing, and speaking words of truth and of life. There is such a thing as sin that offends a Holy God and sanctification means being "set apart" for the holy. Jesus' awesome request that God forgive those who tortured him to death is the measure of God's preparedness to forgive repentant sinners. The measure of our response to that is, surely, to follow Christ and do what he commands, for he is the way, the truth and the life.

Don't most religions talk about separation? In Judaism, God had separate "chosen people." In Christianity, the non believers will be separated to hell. In Islam, you have the separation of believers from the infidels.

the trouble with religion and religious questions in particular is that when an individual who does not agree with religious beliefs and considers that believers are, because of their dogmatic adherence to their perception of what defines their belief structure, incapable of rational debate. If this can be accepted then by extension your question is moot because it surely implies that religious people are so sensitive that they will have nothing to do with anyone who disagrees with their philosophy and to that end are insular which taken to its conclusion means separation from the ideas and beliefs of non-believers and so, by implication all religion leads to conflict and discord.

The Father did forgive them but they did not receive. Forgiveness doesn't work until it becomes personal.
God is the one who says "depart from me, I never knew you."
That is not religion talking - that is God Almighty. Your choice.
