I want to know from where I can download the driver for PCI Soft V92 Modem..... I actually got a CD called "Bitware For Windows" along with my computer when I bought it, and on the CD it's written that it's contents are a Modem Driver, but I'm not sure whether it's for the PCI SoftV92 Modem or not... currently I'm using an external ADSL router modem for my broadband connection, and although I never use the PCI Modem, I wouldn't like to mess anything up after I format my system..

if you format your system, dont worry about reinstalling any drivers for the modem, winxp usually picks up most drivers installed in the system anyway, if the modem is not in use, it doesnt matter. your adsl modem is likely an external modem and totally different from the v-92 phone modem thats installed in your computer. after formatting, you may have to install some other drivers and software anyway, but to connect to the internet you may need to run the software for the dsl modem,,

Go here and register for the free account, and put the PCI Soft V92 Modem in the search box, and it will give you the choices of what drivers you need. I use this site Daily, it's a terrific site...Good Luck

If you are on a broadband connection - you do not need this modem - why bother? Your system will run just fine without the drivers for the modem - better yet - take it out!
