In other religions, even the ones which claim belief in "One God", people often approach God through an intermediary, such as a saint, an angel, the Virgin Mary or Jesus. However, it is only in Islam that a person is required only to pray to God

in Islam there are no priests or clergy -- each worshipper, man or woman, has a direct relationship with their Merciful Creator -- Almighty God. Since God is the Owner and Sustainer of everything, as well as the only one who can provide true and complete forgiveness, it is completely futile to try to approach Him through anyone else.

Some religions say that human beings, due to their sinfulness, cannot approach God without an intermediary -- which mistakenly implies that God is unable or unwilling to forgive human-beings directly. Adam "atoned" for his sin by saying "My Lord I have sinned and if you do not forgive me and have mercy upon me then I shall indeed have lost." So God forgave him. Similarly, all human beings have the door to forgiveness left open to them by God until the day they die

God is One. There is no Trinity. Jesus is a prophet of God, and like all his fellow prophets, he is a human being. We love him, and believe in him, and affirm all of his miracles, bestowed upon him as a favour from his Lord. He called for the worship of God alone and for righteousness - as every prophet of God has done. However, his pure monotheistic message was gradually changed by 'Christians' into a polytheistic one, by transforming Jesus(the servant of God, into a mythological God-incarnate figure to be worshipped alongside God All-Mighty

Does it have to your god and jesus? Can't I pray to the mother goddess when I feel the need to be protected? Or maybe to the moon goddess when I am feeling blue? Does it have to be your choice of gods?

I pray to God because it was he who created me and saved me from my sins. I pray to God because it is he who is my protector and provider. I pray to God because it is he who is my rock in a weary land. I pray to God because it is he who sent his only begotten son on Earth to die and save us from our sins. I pray to God because it is he who wakes my family, friends, and I up in the morning and starts us on our way. I pray to God because I am thankful for all he has done for me, my family, my friends, and everyone around the world!
