If you are of sound mind, it is perfectly safe to take it several times in your lifetime. Stupid people who take drugs are just stupid people on drugs. Overdosing is nearly impossible, the one (thats right, ONE) recorded case of an LSD overdose was when a stupid person injected 14,000 micrograms into himself. Since the average dose is 100-150 micrograms, thats nearly 1400 times the amount needed to trip. Idiot. The other nice thing about LSD is that its the one of the strongest most potent psychoactive materials known to man in regards to dose. The dose at which LSD becomes active (somewhere around 25 micrograms) is so small, almost all other drugs aren't even active at that dose. People will try to discourage you and say that the LSD you bought is really laced with something else.... Doesn't matter, at those doses, they won't do anything. It's also a hell of a lot more expensive to make/purchase other drugs and drop them onto those little tabs than to just make real LSD and sell that.
Know your mind, know your body, know your drugs. (And if possible, know your dealer too.)
EDIT:
Oops, got my numbers mixed up. 14,000 micrograms is the LD50 of LSD. The LD50 being the dose that would kill 50% of those who took it. The idiot who died took 320,000 micrograms. But there is a report of someone who took 40,000 and survived:

LSD has very few side effects and it is much less toxic than acetaminophen, ibuprofen and many other products you can buy legally. The risks come from potentially dangerous behavior if you are completely out of control, and from unpredictability in the manufacturing process and the dosage - there's no way to know for sure what exactly you might be taking or how much. Consequently, it can be easy for someone to overdose if they got used to using a very diluted product, and later got a hold of a potent batch and took the amount they were used to taking. As with any drug, some people do not tolerate LSD. For those people, it can cause some long-term changes in mood or other neurological functions, but this is pretty rare.

LSD can cause you to do stupid things therefor making you less healthy than you were before. A friend of mine named Matt took LSD some years ago out at a Lake we used to hang out at, he ended up falling off a 30 foot cliff and breaking his back in three places. He got lucky and he walked again, but he never did acid again.
I won't lie, I did my fair share of acid, but now I have grown up and I know better.
I hope you aren;t asking if it will harm you so you know if its safe for you to use it, because its not.
