we are renewing our vows and thought it would be cute to have my handsome sone walk with me to his daddy. We didn't get the wedding we planned on and now we can. But with a extra bonus our miracle baby.

Great minds must think a like LOL I just got married last April I have a 10 yr old son and a 8 yr old son from a previous marriage and they both walked me down the isle My Father walked my husband and my 4 month old daughter down the isle right before we did and it was so cool The pictures are awesome my father was so proud to walk the baby down and my sons were also so proud All four (sons baby girl and Father) of them gave me away to my soon to be husband Another thing you might want to consider is we had the kids up at the alter while we said our vows the boys stood right on either side of our Pastor and the baby to the side of me held by my Maid Of Honor to signify that we were all getting married and so the boys could hear how much we mean to eachother and how much they mean to the both of us I know yours isn't old enough to really understand but the pictures and meaning of having him up there are PRICELESS We are So Glad we chose to do that CONGRATS and Best of Luck to the three of you!!!

nicely I incredibly have a 13 month previous and he or she has been walking a month and would walk a good distance relatively if somebody is retaining her hand so i'd say if the female can walk good adequate then she would desire to stroll down the aisle no situation. As for walking with strangers my daughter will as long as she sees that somebody she knows additionally knows them yet all babies are diverse. in case you could desire to i'd say to take the baby for an afternoon and meet the different bridesmaids so she has a minimum of seen them as quickly as earlier the special occasion, good success..

I think it's a wonderful idea, and so original! My son is 12 months, and when his daddy and I get married, he'd going to be the ring bearer, with his cousin (our niece, 14 months) as the flower girl.

I think it is so sweet to include children in meaningful ceremonies such as weddings and vow renewals.

Why not? It's your wedding...do what you want to do. At least that's what everyone keeps telling me as I'm planning mine.

I think it would be a very special family time, since you're renewing your vows and reaffirming your commitment to each other, but now, also to the family you've created.

No. You shouldn't be having a "do-over" wedding! The wedding you had was what you had, whatever the circumstances were at the time. A vow renewal is a small ceremony, sometimes part of a regular church service, sometimes separate - but it is NOT another wedding!

I can't think of a better way to renew your vows. After all it is not just a marriage to your husband any longer. The vows are to your family. Good luck, God bless. Here's to many more years of happiness to you and your family!

that would be so sweet! I definitely think you should do it. Plus, I'm sure your son would look so handsome in a little suit (if you choose to do that). good luck with the final planning and congrats :)

what a fantastic idea to have him walk with you. that is a very special way to include him in the wedding it will be like you are presenting yourselves to your spouse. Also practical he will probably behave better walking with you than by himself.
