When you don't believe in God, you find the room to believe in yourself instead of him. It makes you a stronger human inside. Life is what YOU make it-not God. Being an Atheist myself, it's reassuring that every time I make a mistake I can't beg for God's forgiveness, but to be forgiven by kindness and faulty memories... and for most atheists, that makes us want to treat people right the first time around. Without God, people can agree on reality.. not fiction.. It's the only way to find your true self

If there is a God and I believe, look what I have to look forward to. Plus I had something that helped me through all of the difficulties in life. If there isn't a God then I have nothing to lose. If, on the other hand there is a God and I don't believe, then I lose everything and remain lost

None. Absolutely none. What matters is that humans feel safe and capable and happy in their lives so that they can be productive. For some, a god helps with that - but it is such a deeply personal thing. I think that religion should be considered part of the Private Sphere of life and people's personal beliefs should not be aired or belittled.
Peace!

Since by definition "God" is the ultimate reality, it makes all the difference in our sorry little existence. If there is a God and we are spending our few decades here insulting Him, how should we expect Him to react when we see Him face to face? Conversely, if we spend our time here fellowshipping with Him and gladly hearing and obeying Him, wouldn't he invite us to come home with Him to extend that fellowship?

Extreme difference as light to darkness.
Without God, nothing exists. God is the Creator of all existence. And He sends down the light of guidance through His Divine Messengers.
People who don't believe in God know not the purpose of their lives and consequently condemn themselves to the immense darkness of physical matters.

The problem is not really whether or not God exists. The problems is what insane atrocities believers are willing to commit for their preachers in God's name. It is not just the Muslims that blow things up or sacrifice themselves with the joy of religious fervour. Christian zealots and Jewish zealots murder as a holy act just the same.

well, if you believe there isnt a god, you'll be highly disappointed when you find out there is. His name is God, the Great I AM. He is your creator, the Father of Jesus Christ. He loves every man woman and child on this planet, he is just waiting for us all to turn back to him.
