Yes, you can, so long as you don't overstay the time allowed (I believe six months of the year) nor do you try to work in the US without a visa.

Of Course you can.
We are a nice country and are all in the realestate buisness.
My wifes Realtives, I would never claim them, Canadians all own property in US. Couple in Cali and some in Hawaii and Florida and Western washington.
I believe the Florida and Hawaii are just timeshares tho.
Now that your coinage is creeping up towards parity it may be a good time to do so.
I have this bridge in Brookland or if want remote a nice piece of wetland in Florida,Bayous and blocks of lots in New Orleans of Louisiana.
Cheap!

It's legal and a large number of Canadians live here part time. You may need a passport to get back into Canada though.

Yes you can. My husband is a Canadian citizen (who is a legal resident here in the US) and he has owned property and we jointly own our home.

In many countries that would be necessary, but there are many, many Canadians who own homes in the US.

Why not? I'm an American and I owned property in the Bahamas and my cousin (also American) lived in Canada. You may have heard of her, she was called Princess Grace.
