They are regular people, but they look at the world in a totally different way.
A diploma will help you look at the world in a different way. It just opens up your mind to allow you to more effectively work with ALL kinds of people.

There are sooooo many reasons! You really need special skills, this isn't something you can just "jump into". FYI--mentally challenged went out the door nearly 15 years ago. Read up, volunteer, and see what this is all about.

That really depends on where you want to work......I know that's the case in Canada.I would call the places that you would like to work at and ask them.some places have on the job training and educational opportunities.You also may want to volunteer to get your foot in the door.
