There are hundreds of autoimmune diseases that could act lit RA but not test like it. I do not know too much about the other diseases, but i myself have RA and kow quite a bit about it. I have been DXd with it for over 6 years and am on some pretty big drugs. I am also on a forum called 4ratalk.com and there are lots of people there from around the world with lupus, RA, fibro and other diseases. we have lots of people there with lots of info and research. The Rheumatoid factor test is only positive in 85% of the people who actually have RA. I have lupus and tend to get the inflammed joints like RA. Any number of autoimmune disease can cause the same symptoms anlong with some other conditions. The important thing is to see your doctor and be persistent.
