I've been friends with benefits with a guy for four months now, but I want more. Trying to make this situation into a real relationship hasn't gone good. Should I continue to try and make a relationship with my FWB or break it off and try to make a relationship with someone else.

Why not have it both ways? Keep the benefits while you're looking for a better situation?

Friends with benefits does not work! Trust me..you were fooling yourself thinking that the guy will start to have feelings for you because you were intimate with him! Men are wired differently..they can have seX with a woman and not feel attatched. Women on the other hand are the opposite. If you ever want to be in a relationship with a guy do not fall into the "friends with benefits" category because he only looks at you as a "booty call". A "girlfriend material" person would never subject herself to being a friends with benefits. Guys do not respect girls who do this. Learn from this mistake and do not do this again if you want a relationship from the guy. Move on and do not have sex with a guy unless you are his girlfriend! I know it's hard especially when the guy is cute, but he will RESPECT you a lot more for making him wait. It's the sterotypical...we had sex this soon...she must give it up to anyone....Yeah...it sucks..but that's how men are. Let him work for sex. The more you make him wait..the more he will find you disireable because men always crave what they can not have or what eludes them. I was in your situation before and I thought the same thing as you did and he rejected me! I felt so dumb! Ahhhh...learn from your mistakes.

Friends with benefits? HECKS NAW!!! If he's the one that wanted friends with benefits then all he wanted was the benefits and nuthin more. That would be a bad relationship.

he's had four months to make a relationship with you....and he hasn't. move on..find someone who wants a real relationship with you.
remember..next time..no friends with benefits..it's just not worth it....time lost when you could have been with someone nicer....

yes, hello he is fwb with other girls. You are not the only one. Even if he says so, guys who want to be fwb's are not WIRED FOR ONE GIRL. you deserve better!

You know what you want, that is the first step. Bring it up to him, and you will find out how he feels about it.
