Skyler,( or how about Skylar? )Dutch for "scholar." Nothing wrong with that! Sounds like the blond haired, blue -eyed jock that all the girls swoon over in high school. Nothing wrong with that either!!!! Believe me when you hold your baby in your arms for the first time, the name will just come to you. I went into the hospital thinking I was coming out with a son named Isaac Montgomery, instead I came out with an Isaac Alexander. You will decide for sure when you see that little face and those little eyes. And congratulations on your precious little gift!!!!!!

I would probably name a girl that before I would name a boy Skyler...I can't imagine him when he is a grown man wanting to be called that.

It's your son...not ours! You should choose what you like!. Don't start the child's life already letting society decide what's best for him. Skyler sounds good to me.

Skyler is definetely masculine! Go ahead, it's a very cute name. When he's a toddler, you can call him by "sky." I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with him, not matter what you name him.

The first thing that comes to my mind is the white trash kid from South Park who was Wendy's boyfriend. Sorry

My thoughts are- no parent should name their child that. no matter if its a boy or a girl.
