Military Precision and discipline required.
Don't use water that has been boiled previously because it removes properties of the water to make it taste different, so top up kettle a little each time to add fresh water.(with the environment in mind).
Put tea bag in the cup and as soon as the water is boiled (still bubbling) poor it over the bag. Some people will now leave the bag for a minute or so but I disagree. Best thing to do now is agitate the bag with the spoon quite aggressively for about 20 seconds then squeeze the bag with the spoon against the side of the cup and throw away bag. Now add sugar and stir if you want it sweet before adding just enough milk to make the tea well tanned.
Always milk at the end otherwise the tea bag will not actually come into contact with boiling water, just very hot milky water.
Served best with crunchy peanut butter on toast.

Hot water into the pot/cup, tea bag/holder into the water, wait a minute, then add cream/milk and or sugar. If you are making a regular British type tea, then keep the bag in for about a minute. Herbal tea takes about 2 minutes to get all of the flavor out of it. If you are making White tea, don't use boiling water, just hot water, and steep the leaves about 2-3 minutes. Upton Tea Imports is a good site to visit. Best of luck to you!!

Making tea is a fine art!!!
It must be made in a teapot. 2 teabags per pot. pour boiling water into the pot, then put the tea bags in and allow to brew for about 5 minutes.
Then, pour the tea into the cup, add milk and stir 7 times clockwise and 7 times anticlockwise and tap the spoon 3 times on the side!
It makes perfect tea everytime!

I usually heat up the water, and bring out a nice teapot. Pour the hot water into the pot, and swirl to foam. Dunk two tea bags of your choice in the water and let steep for 5 minutes or so. Pour into teacup, and add 1-2 sugar cubes and 1 teaspoon milk. Sit back, relax and enjoy!
Wait a minute: don't sit back, but enjoy!!!!! :)

I always put the milk in first. - this stops the thin film of skin that forms on the top of tea.

You didn't say whether hot or cold, but a teaspoon of honey in hot tea is soo good, and ice tea is good like Sun tea, in those glass jars outside most of the day, I would use like 5 bags per gallon, good stuff!

Use your 12 cup coffee pot. Use two family size tea bags. Brew as if you were making a pot of coffee. In one gallon pitcher pour in brew, if you want sweet use one cup of sugar for lightly sweetened and more as to your taste. Stir brew and sugar, then fill remainder with cold water. Perfect tea a done deal.
