Keep up the good work and do not go on a diet. Keep jogging which you need for cardiovascular. You also could do a few sit ups and push ups. I am a fitness trainer and i have to admit that the gym can be expensive nad does take time. I would I would do a few lounges to. You know what? Just take my advice and you will be fit in no time.

I don't really understand your question but, I'll give it a try. Protein bars and creatine in my opinion are for mucle headed frankensteins. For soccer it's all about short intense bursts. Consider investing your money on 'Never Gymless' and 'Infinite Intensity' by Ross Enamait. You will find lots of hardcore, low tech, high intensity drills in these books. Do not jog or do lunges. Sprint uphills, Run with a weighted sled, or run with a weighted sled uphill. Try one legged squats for real body weight strength. If you cannot do one start from a chair and slowly lower yourself. This is my favorite leg strengthener but is not very sport specific. You have the internet. Go to some soccer sites and look at what the pros do. Also with regards to protein and creatine, lean meats are always better. If you can't afford lean meats and egg whites then get protein powder.

Try doing squats to build up your legs
or lunges
continue practicing and playing soccer( american-football), the more you practice moving the ball with your feet, running and controlling the ball...your legs will also build stronger muscles.

I wouldn't be taking any pills* at all....eating a healthy meal to keep your energy up and water to hydrate you before a game*

When I was in school and played basketball and softball, for conditioning, our coach had us run stairs. We would do probably 500 stairs a day, Plus as added torcher, we would shoot 25 free throws, and run stairs for each free throw missed. Good conditioning. I am 40 years old now and my youngest son who is 19 is semi-jealous because my calves are bigger than his. (He is 5'10" and in the Navy.) I did not eat protien bars or take any kind of enhancement drug. Just a lot of hard work.

before a workout or playing football its best to drink a protein shake. creatine pills are best taken after the workout to rebuild the muscle.

One of the best leg strengthening exercises without any gym equipment and it's FREE.

Lunges...just step out as far as you can retreat and make sure you put your knee about 6' from the floor. Step out with your left and back, then your right then back. Keep your hands on your hips or out in front of you and breath deeply.

Take up fencing! Lunges are included, plus any decent coach would give you a ton of drills to practice, and it conditions more then just your legs, you pretty much have to use your whole body in the sport. Plus it's fun!

One word: squats

Not only the best exercise to develop stronger legs, but the best muscle strengthening exercise period. Anybody who is into strength training needs to incorporate squats into their routine. If you are new to doing them, then definitely get somebody to teach/coach you on good form when you are getting started.

Well, my legs really get worked when I ride my bike uphill. It's tough, but I could really feel my legs working hard. It kind of helps my running because of the similar movement the legs produce when pedaling on a bike.
