its there all the time nothing seems to relieve it, it all started after i had a cold does anyone know what it could be?

you may have strep. mine felt that way. i kept trying to swallow it but then i realized it was a bump on my throat. ask a doctor if it still hurts after a few more days.

Did you swallow a pill? If not and you're very determined you can't stand it, take a teaspoon of salt, add very warm water and
drink it fast, hopefully you'll up-chuck whatever is there, out. If not
repeat to vomite it out.

if it is just swolen glands.... that happens to me once in awhile.... it makes me feel better to drink warm or hot beverages.... hot chocolate, coffee, theraflu,......
but if it is really bad, and doesn't go away soon, you should see a doc. it could be serious!
