"Panther" in German is said like this:

2 syllables:

PAN-ther.

Pan is said sort of like "pawn," you want your "a" to be short.

"th" in German is pronounced like "t" in English.

and "er" sounds kind of like "her."

("Er," which means "he" in German, however, sounds like "Air")
