1950's hair styles?

I am in a musical and i need a 50's hairstyle. I have long brown curly hair, which makes it hard since the popular style was shorter hair....any ideas?

You could do something like beyonce has done in this photo which is a 1950's hair style. Hair nets were also in back then so you could use one to hold the bottom of your hair up
