What makes you think that a person is more capable of making a decision regarding their body at 30 more so than 18? Society says that we are considered adults at the age of 18, so thankfully that's when we get to start to make "grown up" choices. Unless of course the government will be willing to make a compromise on that...say pay my taxes until I'm 30?
So...no, I don't!

That's stupid, apparently you don't mind the government making all of your personal choices but I do. It's not about whether or not smoking is bad for you. It's about where do you draw the line, I guess you won't too much care until they begin to infringe upon your rights. In this country 18 is a legal adult and they have the right to pick up a cigarette and smoke. If they are old enough to fight in a war for this country they are old enough to make that choice for themselves.

No. In fact once you hit your majority- 18 in this country- the government aught to stay out of your life as long as there is no direct danger being caused to another. Including smoking, drinking, and drugs. Over regulation is one of the curses of this country these days.

You might as well just give the baby a carton of cigarettes when he's born, get him started young. But really, nobody pays attention to those age limits anyway. People are going to do what they want.

no it's a personal choice, plus people wouldn't stop doing it.. there's 10 year olds that do it and the age is 18/19 whatever. half the gas station people here in new york don't even ID you. honestly, it wouldn't make a difference
