A friend of mine has a son serving in Iraq and he told his Dad that there was a shortage of battery's for their Night Vision. I want to send him a " care package" and include some of these battery's IF I can find out what kind to buy.

The young man's Dad told me they are a 3 volt battery.

The 3 volt is an odd sized lithium battery, nothing that's sold at Walgreen's. AAs work.

Depends on the model of NVD. AN/AVS-7's and 9's use AA batteries. I don't know what kind your friend's unit has.

Various, but some do take AA, Use Energizer Industrial.
