I am a freshman in high school. I recently started dating this sophmore...it has been one week and i am not in to it....i really like this other freshman and he likes me too....i would rather be with him....i want to break up with this sophmore but i dont want to hurt his feelings.....all I need to know is....is this a bad thing to do??? Please answer!

No, it's not a bad thing to break up with him. It's all about you and how you feel, so don't be scared about hurting him. Just tell him that you don't have very strong feelings for him, and be truthful if he asks you if you like someone else.

Go where your hearts lead you too, you can't stay in the same relationship if that feeling is not there, your wasting your life away. Your only a freshman c'mon you have so many years to worry about relationship, stay single until your ready to be commited. Worry about getting an education instead that what school is for.

tell him the truth before you hurt him emotionally. i'm sure that he will wonder what he did to make you want to not be with him anymore and since you've only been together for 1 week things should not be so bad. you might want to tell him ahead of time though that you are interested in someone else so when he sees you around that he won't be so disgruntled.

Just tell him you didn't feel right with this relationship and you don't really feel that way about him (the sophmore)

If you're not into the guy you're with now you need to call it quits, it will hurt him a lot less now than it would later. You also need to be fair to your self. Take a chance with the guy you do like, because if you don't you may regret it later.

lol i broke up with some guy.. but he was a freshmen because it wasnt working and i liked some other guy A LOT and i think he likes me(situation is still going on)..its not bad..u simply werent happy and thats notthing to feel bad about..u cant build a relationship on false feelings

definitly not a bad thing. the guy would appreciate you a lot more if you told him sooner than later. I would just say you know... i kinda lost interest but i would still like to be friends. Its a lot better to do it sooner than later.

it would just be best to tell him that you like him as a friend but you like someone else...just be real nice about it...when i was in school we did good at writing notes..it is good you care though about hurting someone else...i think that is really admirable of you...
