Yes, perfectly normal. Being in heat puts a large strain on animals, so it's natural for her to want to break free and fulfill a natural instinct. Imagine only being able to have relations for a few days out of the year-- You'd be a bit antsy down in the pantsies too. (ESPECIALLY since your sexual urges would be through the roof!)
Like everyone's said before, get her checked out when she gets home. You said she came in every night, so unless someone picked up the cute little kitty, she should come back on her own when she's finished with her episode.
Peace and love and all that junk, --Pokey

there have been some great ideas approximately warm water bottles and that i might additionally recommend a wheat bag, nevertheless the only ones I even have had are made with lavender which i think would be unsightly as a scent for infant. Get some low priced soft blankets for her to nest in (like the fleece blankets you may get from Ikea super-low priced) or make her a suitbale resting place if she exhibits no activity in nestling into them. you additionally can want to attempt an area heater to maintain a heat room temperature, and a dropper to get water into her, or moist nutrients (mashed, or with water further, or the two) or poultry boiled down right into a broth (to grant nutrients and water in an alluring meal) She might do nicely to be soothed, basically take a seat together with her and talk quietly or basically have her on your lap. i think of the employer will do her psychological state slightly sturdy and help her get well bodily. perchance even some employer from Kale might help her and convenience her. he's an significant different and stored her existence. Your canines is a hero, that is wonderful to be sure that he rescued her. some canines could have became on a family individuals cat as quickly as injured. i do no longer think of offence became meant while it became stated to maintain her in. regrettably this incident exhibits why its so problematical to enable a cat out. Kale probably stored her existence besides the incontrovertible fact that it does no longer constantly be the case. additionally, after her trauma she could want the indoors. sturdy luck and that i'm hoping she recovers nicely.

just keep trying... eventually she will come back (hopefully not pregnant). Is she lost or just not coming inside? If she is lost, leave some food and water by your house, and maybe post a neighborhood notice about your cat. If she just doesn't want to come inside, you should make her come inside until she is not in heat, there are too many unwanted cats to have her getting pregnant. Get her spayed as soon as possible! good luck with your kitty cat.

Believe me I also had an inside-outside female cat,,,,,,she loved being indoors yet when she was in heat,,,,,,,,could not contain her in the house,,,,she would find a way out always. Expect when your baby returns,,,,,she is Pregnant. Have this litter and if you don't want more ,,,,,,have her spayed as soon as she ends nursing her kitties,,,,,,,,otherwise she will get pregnant in a couple of months again,,,,,,,Good Luck

Yes, this is normal. She's probably going to stay out of the house until she knows she's pregnant, or until she's tired and hungry. She probably is now, so your best bet is to just be pacient or to go out and call her while tapping the bottom of a can of wet cat food. That always works for my cat.

You should have had her fixed when you had the chance. Now you are likely looking at some kittens when she gets back. Considering the gross overpopulation of cats and dogs in our country that results in millions of them being exterminated every year, I think you owe your cat an apology for not being a more careful owner.

well in some cases it is.she may have run away to do her thing in privacy r look for the "dad" unless you bread her with another one of your cats.she is probablyjust being protective.put a sign up in your local vet officew and tell your neighborrrs.dont forget if she doesnt come back drive slowly down the road for a few minutes looking for her.look in the simplest places because sometimes something that would seem to be hard to find might be right in front of your face.

Yes, this is normal. Our first cat did that. When she comes back, she will undoubtedly be pregnant. You could immediately get her fixed as soon as she comes back, even if you think she is pregnant.
She's just not taking any chances on getting stuck back in the house.
