My husband has one, who is named Sam. When I first started coming around, Sam would chase me around the house, corner me, bite me, and bit holes in my shoes. I was taking her master away from her, now that I have been around for 8 years, I can pet Sam, not in his presence, and she talks to me while he is gone. My husbands son tormented Sam one day, do not know what he did, but Sam screams and fluffs up her feathers whenever a tall young man walks in. There are different reasons why a bird will be aggressive towards some one. In our case it was jealousy and revenge. Sometimes we have to lock Sam in her cage when she starts being aggressive, she hates it so she settles down quickly

Hey may perceive the other woman as their mate. Birds usually regurgitate for the person they feel closest too. The best way to get him to stop is to socialize him more. If he is aggressive to you, then you should try being his primary caregiver and giving him the best treats.
Is your DYH re-homed? If so, there may be something in his past that is affecting his current behavior. It will probably take a lot of time and patience for you to get him to come around, but it will be worth it in the end.
Good luck.

it fairly is extra beneficial than in all hazard hormonal. no longer in simple terms that...yet DYHs are incredibly widely used for that... and that's even worse throughout the time of mating season. they are widely used for being fairly aggressive and hormonal throughout the time of mating season. It does not recommend that they seem to be a recommend chicken...they only....get a sorta PMS

let them get used to each other for a few minutes. and if he does try to bite you get those handler stick things that eople pick them up with so he won't bite you.

I do not know if they are all that way, but my great-grandmother had one while I was growing up and he was really really mean. He had certain people that he liked, but he hated most people and if he did not like you he would attack you.
