I have a shar pei n yeah i think she might be pregnant n yeah how would you be able to tell?

You have to take the dog to the vet. After about 21 days the vet can palpate (or feel) the abdomen for the individual whelps (puppies). It has to be done by a vet because it is extremely easy to damage the mother and the potential puppies if not done properly. After 45 days the dog can be x-rayed. It will give you a positive yes or no if she is pregnant and it will give you an idea of how many she will have.

First of all, was your dog in season? If not there is no possible way that your dog could be pregnant. If she was just in heat, the first signs would be gaining weight, mostly around the middle. And the nipples will get larger than normal. Good Luck

If you don't know the answer to this question, you should probably make an appointment A.S.A.P. to get her spayed at the vet. A vet will spay a pregnant ***** if she is not too far along.

Take her to the vet ASAP!! You may also tell by her getting fatter that usual or maybe acting weird!!

You can see her belly swelling and if you take her to the vet the vet can take x-rays and find out!

Her stomach will start to swell and her nipples will start growing and sometimes become a little red. (and for all u perverts who will be reading this get a life).
