Since religion is defined as "a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith" I don't see how Hinduism or Buddhism could be considered fake. Therefore, I don't think the question is answerable based on that premise. Take out the word "fake" from the question and I would say that God allowed Hinduism and Buddhism because they are very effective means of bringing certain truths into the world despite the absence of things that you would associate with a "real" religion.

Hinduism basically says that you should be moral & good etc. and if you are such you can have hold any belief that you want. for example, i believe in god as a man-made concept, but i am still hindu.
so, hinduism "allowed" diff. religions to spring up b/c it is not against the existence of other religions - it leaves that up to people rather than forcing beliefs upon people

Hinduism is a religion that does not attempt to degrade any other religion, therefore why would they resist derivations of Hinduism.

Hinduism is great, that is why it encouraged other faiths too.
It does not compromise, truth for any thing, because it believes that god is truth and truth is god.
