The trams under the airport are pretty easy, but sometimes I choose the moving sidewalks, especially if it's only one concourse away. They're pretty quick and you don't have to fight the crush of humanity in the trams.

However, if you're not familiar with the airport, it might be best to stay with the trams. Just follow the signs, listen to the prompts (inside the trams) and you'll be fine.

Theres a train that runs under all the concourses. It runs from the main terminal through to concourse E. It takes about 15 seconds to get inbetween each concourse. You just take the esclator down and its there. Its pretty easy to get around Atlanta airport. I go through that airport on a regular basis. Here's a link to check it out for yourself.

Yes the airport has a rail system that stops at each concourse.
Atlanta is a fairly easy airport to navigate due to all the concourses run parrallel to each other.

Go to the link below and you can click on a link to see a diagram of the airport as well other links to get more information. Hartsfield is very easy to get around in, and despite what another person who posted stated, the directions to get from one concourse to the next are very easy to understand and follow. The underground tram has both verbal and displayed information that tells you what the current and next stops are.

There's a tram under the airport or you can just walk. From D to C takes 2 minutes walking or 30 seconds on the tram.

As soon as you get off the plane, run and keep on running until you get there, even if you have to use the bathroom.(lol)
