Well, if you weren't already aware, a hicky is simply a bunch of broken blood vessels, which is what we call a 'bruise'. I'm not sure if you knew that or not, but I figured it was important to know what exactly you're getting into. Personally, I don't do hickys. Not because I "don't know how" to give one, but because the thought of what we're physically and technically doing is a harmful action. I mean, come on: "broken blood vessels". I don't know about you, but just typing this made my stomach turn and I'd like to vomit right about now. :'(
Anyhow, as far as giving a hicky... there's not much to it. However, I DO believe it's something that has to be 'learned'. You'll see that it's easy, once you get the hang of it. You can practice on your arm, if you'd like.
All you have to do is place your *slightly opened mouth against the skin, and suck in. Be aware that you might have to keep that up for a good 30-60 seconds. However, often times in a moment of passion.. 60 seconds goes by in a snap. But really, that's honestly all it takes. I tried to look online for additional directions and/or reassurance, but there just wasn't anything.
I advise you to not think about it while you're trying this. Just relax and cherish the moment. I'm sure you'll do fine! ;D
