I have small bumps that itch alot. They started on my head then went to my neck and now they are on my back. My parents think it's an allergic reaction but I took some allegy medicine when it was only on my head and it hasn't gone away. Is it an allergy or what. What should I do to get rid of it? Please help it's kinda embarrasing to be scratching your head and back in school and very unbearable to not scratch.

If it is something that is fast spreading, it very well could be an allergic reaction, and you'll need to see a doctor immediately. If not, make a call to your doctor tomorrow to be seen.

Could be hives. I had hives that didn't respond to prescription medications, and topical ones, over the counter and even some others. See a doctor. It's either an allergic reaction or a whole host of other skin diseases. Noone can tell for sure without having a good look at you. Also, report any other symptoms. Hives can be caused by a virus, but so can many other things. Try not to touch or scratch the area as well, you may be spreading them. But again, see a doctor as soon as possible, because as I stress, someone needs to SEE this rash.

try to see a doctor. meantime you may want to try claritin tablet once or twice a day. it's an antihistamine just in case your suffering from allergic reactions. it stops the itch.

i have been suffering psoriasis since i was in high school. i tried to see several dermatologist, they're speculating that i have scabies, acute dermatitis etc and spent so much on many medications but i wasn't cured. finally i decided to have a biopsy and found out i had this psoriasis. it cannot be cured. you can only prevent it from coming back and medicines are only used to relieve itch and rashes. perhaps you have the same condition. i am not sure, so better ask a doctor about it.

right now, rashes rarely appear on my skin, if there are any, there's only a few. in most cases, my psoriasis comes ina form of dandruff. my scalp starts scaling whenever i eat allergenic foods or i'm into alot of stress.

It's probably a mite, or lice of some kind. Because it started on the head, that's why I'm guessing a mite or lice. An organism that lives in hair, oil ducts, or off of the old dead skin cells.
It could also be something like a measles virus, they usually present themselves as a solid bump. A chicken pox virus is usually a fluid filled bump. Both are very itchy and contagious, to those not vaccinated.
I'd go to a DR and have them look at it, it's hard to diagnose without a picture or better description of the bumps.

Do you have pets? Could be a flea thing or an allergy to an animal. Changed shampoos/soaps etc. lately? There are a miriad of things out there these days than can cause a problem like this...If you haven't changed any hygiene items and you have no animals your only option, seek medical advice..don't let it get to the point that you are soooo embarrassed etc. with friends and family...Good Luck
