Seriously, all dating is is playing games, spending money, and impressing the other person. That is unttil you hit a relationship when you actually show the person who you really are and that's when you really either fall in love or leave. But relationships aren't dating. When you're dating someone, you think you may be falling in love, but really you're falling in infatuation.

So whats the point of dating? Why not just make friends, build a foundation, hang out casually---no pressure---, and go from there?

You have a really good point. This is why I actually do this. There is only one person I havn't done this with and that is my current live in g/f, we have lived/been together for a year and a half now.

Why not? Because dating isnt all playing games, some people enjoy the feeling of love and sharing it. I do. So tell me how can you fall in love if you dont give it a chance?

dating as a teen or immature adult is like that, and some people will be like that forever. For me when i'm dating it's testing out the waters for a relationship, I don't try to woo the person i dont dress better, do my hair more ect.. hell i doubt i even shave my legs more! screw them if they want me they're getting ME!
And yes you can do that and still have a man, i have a wonderful one as we speak

I agree and no, I don't date. There is no point in dating. Especially if kids are dating, they only think dating is talking on the phone and eating lunch together. Wow, no big deal. o.O

through dating you can make friends.... not all dating rhymes with loving.. maybe someone is dating because he/she needs it... its up on them what they wants... you can feel it in the end... any strange or any feeling... date is a word that man knows the woman... and its good to date, try doing it! remember not all dating rhymes with loving!
