I quit drinking all sodas cold turkey, three days ago. Sometimes I wish I could drink soda, like when I go to restaurants where they serve it and my friends drink it, but I am in no way bothered by the cravings, I find it easy to resist the soda. However, for anyone who has ever quit drinking soda, did you eventually stop craving it and prefer other healthier drinks like water or milk?

It just takes time and patience. If you stop drinking it long enough, the next time you DO have one, you'll likely find it to be too thick and sweet. That is what has happened to just about everyone I know who quit drinking soda, including me. Not only do the cravings stop, but you get so that you really don't even like it that much. That is my experience, anyway. It might be different for you.

ok. you have 2 selections. a million. you've gotten a splash restoration of soda which in term might tilt you off the nutrition plan wagon, even nonetheless that is no longer for advantageous 2. you could close your eyes, p.c.. up your water, think of of your renowned soda, think of of each little thing approximately it, the feel, flavor, seem, scent, each little thing. on a similar time as preserving your eyes closed drink your water and with a bit of luck it is going to trick your concepts into thinking that is soda. :) solid luck

I don't know about craving soda, but I do know from experience that if ya go pretty much without refined sugar for, say, a year and then you taste a soda it is so disgusting that you simply cannot drink it. ( not that I live that way now--go without sugar?? no way !)

Sure you'll stop.

Try 100% fruit juice (I like OJ with calcium for added health benefits) mixed with flavored seltzer (I like cherry best). You will have the sweet and the fizz but good for you.
