if she is drinking water then give her a day, the anesthesia can make them sick at their stomach, dont encourage her to eat if she just eats to make you happy she will just throw it up, if she wont drink water then get to the vet asap

You dog just went through a (possibly) painful operation--don't feel guilty, spaying and nuetering is necessary.
She is in shock from the anestetic and will be unhappy for up to three days. However, if she is not eating by tomorrow call you vet! Your dog will need to recover from the operation just like a human would, but if it appears serious, don't hesitate to call. Your vet should be happy that you are observant and care for your dog even if it is a false alarm.

I don't like eating after an anaesthetic either. As long as your dog is drinking then she will be fine.
You could try boiling some chicken (no bones) and chopping it finely or some hamburger.
Sure she will start picking up as the days go by

If she is drinking water she will probably be OK. Sometimes the anesthesia makes them feel nauseous. You say she is quiet, but is she alert? If she is alert she is probably fine. Just make sure she drinks water. and call your vet if you have any doubts about her condition! They are there to help.

Well she just had a form of surgery, so I'd let her rest just a little bit longer, but by tomorrow you may want to give your vet a call just to make sure she's okay.

yes thats normal. most animals need some time after that to get the sick feeling out of them and start feeling better. give her another day or 2 and she'll come around.
