I haven't seen any sites which even mention the subject.

I am finding the study of the areas of the brain which produce chemicals that can affect the perception of everything we experience absolutely fascinating,
and would really like to find somewhere to exchange ideas.

I don't even know which category to pick for this question..... psychology, physics, biology or ethics ~ since this study covers all of them............

Any suggestions?

I <3 neurochemistry! It is really the field of psychiatric medicine or a specialty of psychology (neuropsychology).

It's kind of a grey area (no pun intended) between Biology and psychology; you study it in physiology and you can take classes on it in most any psychology undergrad programs.

Seriously, try searching under neuropsychology. You might have luck there. That was no help...

SARATONIN one of my faves, that is why I am always really this happy, I create soo much of it, I smile when I am mad...just joking.... Ya well what about the early LSD Studies of the Seventies.....Sensual contact releases chemicals, that promote longevity, we as animals need to be stroked and petted, and lack of can cause dis at ease wich spells disease, this is where the word originated, people who are in love or have a pet have a stonger possibility of surviving Cancer, than those who dont....sad but true. But all emotions are chemical release, we arent in control of who we are attracted too, because our DNA searches out for likeness, we look for similar traits automatically in our spouce, so when you look into the eyes of a stranger recognise yourself our pupils dialate and chemicals release......babies are born, heeheee....under the control of auto matic pre programmed selves................half the time we arent aware of it.......fight or flight another topic for chemical release....orgasm.....ya it is endless, and its a facinating existance

i think you picked the right category, but I think trying to google it or ask.com it, I'm sure you'll find something there. good luck and yes, it is fascinating how the mind works thru our individual chemistries and how our body then reacts...
