According to past explanations, a general explanation of not believing in God is "no evidence." Therefore, maybe you can prove the evidence of wind. A person cannot see the wind, then how do we know it exists?

because we can see the effects of the wind on air-born objects. We can measure it, we can quantify it...None of these things can be done with "God"

first of all do you even know what causes wind?? Wind is caused by uneven heating of the Earth's surface. When hot air rises and the cooler air takes its place wind is generated...Supernatural beings dont create wind. Not God not Jahova not Zeus.

There is evidence of wind. First get a leaf then wait for the wind and drop the leaf and the leaf should be moving around

plus you can feel the wind so that is also evidence

Hmm, evidence of the wind. That is a tough one. How can I prove that wind exists. Well, you have really stumped me(HOLY SH*T!! the trees outside are moving for some reason!?!). Now, back to the question. How can I prove it exists(Whoa, a plastic bag just flew buy, wierd!?!) Ok, sorry, where was I? Oh, proof of winds existance. Let's see. (Wow, that kid over there is holding a string with something at the end of it floating up in the air. How does he do that?).

Well, you got me, how can I prove the existance of wind?

Limiting this question to those who are without God or those who just doesn't know God is foolish. The existence of God has nothing to do with wind and air, since both have scientific explanation.

As person feels the wind (its force, its temperature, etc), God as revealed, is spirit (wind). In revelation God existences is never proved but is assumed.

You CAN see the wind. It MOVES things. If you blow smoke into it, you can see it. You can see it move the clouds. And haven't you seen a tornado? You can also feel it. There's MORE than enough "evidence" of the wind. That is a ridiculous comparison that has been made time and time again in favor of believing in God.

From wikipedia:
Wind is the rough horizontal movement of air (as opposed to an air current) caused by uneven heating of the Earth's surface. It occurs at all scales, from local breezes generated by heating of land surfaces and lasting tens of minutes to global winds resulting from solar heating of the Earth. The two major influences on the atmospheric circulation are the differential heating between the equator and the poles, and the rotation of the planet (Coriolis effect).

How can anybody refute the existence of wind on the basis of a pious claim? How loco can you be?

How can any theist not believe in wind with all the smoke they blow?

Both the wind and air can be observed and measured. The results of things that both act upon are generally consistent. The wind does not pick and choose which leaf it wishes to blow across the yard; oxygen doesn't "have a plan" regarding whose lungs it wishes to fill. God can't be proven by observation or measurement, because his so-called presence does not produce similar results when tested over and over again.

Good try, but sorry ... it doesn't quite make the point you thought it would.

It is because we can see the effects of wind on materialistic objects, you fool. Wind blows paper away. You can also measure wind speeds, pressure, the direction of wind.

We have five senses through which to observe the world. We can feel the wind on our faces and skin. We can smell the odors it brings us and we can see the wind if we add a visible gas. It is air we cannot see. As for air, we can make it react, we can feel it and taste it. If we freeze it, then we can see it. There is no evidence of God, there is nothing to feel, see, taste, hear, or smell. It relies on the imagination.

Air -- tiny particles pulled toward the Earth by gravity.

Wind -- waves of compression among those particles.

The basic evidence is in the form of compressed molecules along the surface of your skin. This compression results in an action potential that travels electronically along an axon until it reaches your brain, where it is processed first by the cerebellum, then by your limbic system.

You'll have to go to physics, biology, etc for more detailed explanations.

We can make very powerful energy with wind. We can measure it. It has physical properties.
I'll get some links.
Here is a link to the Miami museum of science, you can learn about wind.
