How do you approach someone who is never alone?

See, there's this boy at school, and I don't really know who he is. I saw him a lot at school last year, and I see him a bit sometimes this year, mostly around lunchtime, and I'd like to get to know him, except 1) I don't think he knows who I am, 2) he's a grade above me (so no classes together) and 3) he's rarely - if ever - by himself. I'm really interested in this kid, but I don't know what to do....any ideas? I don't want to scare him away.

Not alone: means he is always travelling in a pack with 2-6 (or more) other people. =/

well if u have some cool friends you could ask them to distract his friends then you could go over there and then maybe talk to him or say hey i say someone else wearing the shirt u r [even if u didnt] and i think it is a really cool shirt if he doesnt notice u then sorry i tried good luck

That's a toughie! Believe me, they don't get any easier when they get older, either. See, I like this guy in my bowling league, and it's like that too, he's always surrounded by people because he's so nice that he's really popular, and it doesn't hurt that he's really hot! I try to get around it by getting to know and be friends with his friends too. Maybe you should try it too, it can only broaden your connections. Good luck!

1. he wont know you until you introduce yourself
2. so he is one grade higher, no big deal
3. if he is always with someone, introduce yourself to him and the person he is with...to go between two people and to ingore one of them is plainly rude. to get a good impression on the boy you like, be friendly to both.

if the boy you like wants to talk with you, he will.

make friends w/ sum1 that has a locker near his. when this is done "accidently" bump into him when you're at your friends locker. lol FUN FUN FUN!
