I was biten by a spider. I'm not sure what kind( I was sleeping when I was biten). My husband thinks it may have been a brown recluse. It doesn't really look exactly like a recluse bite.Does anyone know anything about these?

If you were bitten by a brown recluse you would know that medical attention was required. A brown recluse can kill you within seven days. The bite site will start to form a crater like area. It will be extremely sore.
I recommend that if you have any doubt about your bite that you get into a doctor to look at it.
A brow recluse bite is nothing to mess around with.

I was bitten by a recluse......your joints will start to ache and you will get swelling that is not appropriate for a normal spider bite and you will have a hard time getting it diagnosed....seek help ASAP.....this can be a killler....
they hang in old sheds or dark spaces....really, not a good thing..please listen to hubby...once in a while...they are right...!!!
get help.....better safe than sorry.

Here is a site that you can read about the spider and compare your bite mark to the ones in the picture.If you think it was a brown cluse you must seek medical attention.

I had a friend who was very sick..and, had three marks on his leg...and, he went to the dr..and, the dr.. prescribed antibioitics..
I think it was three marks close together...
you probably will be fine...if you dont get a fever and sick....stick close to home ..
