There is this site www.ExcelGoodies.Com , They teach you excel online live. Its basically instructor led training online. A New Concept. May be you can give them a try.
You can learn things quickly, because someone teaches you live online. So no need to read pages and pages or search so hard on internet to learn excel.
May be u can give a try.

Once you have the basics, the #1 best way to improve is to have something you need to do with it and just sit down and figure it out. Excel is extremely powerful. Get or create a project for yourself and start figuring out how to use it. Use the Help menu a lot for syntax and examples.

go for classes
browse online and check around there is places online that have different tips, and hints good luck
