when i was younger i got made fun of alot and it really got to me. now, older, people always say i look like eva mendes and im really pretty and it hurts me a lot. i just got plastic surgery to look prettier n the guys i know r like freaking out saying i was already pretty before but am i ever gonna believe it? did the kids who made fun of me before just ruin my life?

hey..i use to b fat n ugly when i was younger aswell..but i started changing last year n ppl tell me im pretty too ..the thing u have to realize is that no one can judge u but you..so dont let them get to u..just hav confidence in yourself and when u do ull c how beautiful u really are

People think you look good, don't be so ashamed of yourself! Don't put yourself down. I was made fun of too a lot when I was a little kid and I have a hard time accepting compliments. I think I am not really worth the compliment. Don't fall into that thought process! I bet your very attractive, don't let anyone tell you different!

You do not get to choose if you are gorgeous or not, because it is a perception of another person. You can only choose how you present yourself. If they choose to dislike you, then that is there problem. If you allow yourself to hold on to what they choose to label you, then how can you be what you are now? Why would you adopt their label as your own, when they no longer can see you?Why would you let them shape more of your perception of yourself then your friends? Do your friends not know you better?
