I want to know if 79 watts are a lot of energy or a little bit.

79 watts @ 120 volts is a little over a half amp (.6)
However @ 12 volts it is 6 amps. See how it goes?

it is more then 77 and less then 80.

it is not that much. 60 watt bulbs are low and 100 watt bulbs are high is 79 is in the middle

I use 60 watt bulbs for most of my home except the chandelier which are 40 watts.

Some lightbulbs use much less than 80 watts, so its not that much.

It depends on what you're using it for. It would be a gigantic radio, but a tiny air conditioner.
