I'm attracted to a girl that I've been critisizing on (her personality etc) and am afraid of rejection if I ask her out.

If she doesn't know you criticise her then go for it.If she has heard one way or another i reckon you have some serious grovelling & make-up time to serve! Tell her you didn't really know her.Apologize, take her to dinner.A big bunch of flowers should help! Best of luck!

First, it's wrong to criticise a person outrightly without offering a means as to how a person could improve. How does she normally react when you criticise her? Does she smile and still talk to you? If you are on talking terms, maybe, you should think of a way of making her treat you instead. Note this is supposed to be a trick. So, when she eventually agrees and goes out with you, you treat her instead. That should get her into thinking about your actions for a few days. Follow up and tell her that she has not treated you. If she flirts and smiles, you are on your way to her heart. Good luck!

ah the age old pulling a girls hair coz you like her huh? Well if it's all been banter and not out and out rude you might find out she's enjoyed the bickering and likes you too. if it's been out and out rude then you have some serious ground work to do. you might be better off casually mentioning a film you want to see or a bar you want to go to and then invite her seemingly as if the thought just popped into your head. then if she turns you down it doesn't seem like it was for a date. if you have been seriously rude, I'm not sure what you can do unless you get down on your knees and beg forgiveness. good luck!

I wouldn't expect a positive reaction from her after that.
