If Satan is responsible for evil, then it seems he's equally as powerful as God. Some would argue that he's even winning handily.

Satan has no power - just manipulates, twists and shapes a counterfeit for what already exists. Satan is the opposite of God and can not create anything...the only power he has is what we may be duped into giving him by responding to his manipulation as truth. But as we know satan is the father of all lies and following his leading is a waste if time. Satan even has some people thinking that he is equally as powerful as God! Evil is deception...Satan can deceive but cannot create and has no power.

Who says Satan is responsible for all evil? There are places in the Bible that tell of God using Satan to do what He wants done to someone. All things serve the will of God, Including Satan, and evil.

Because evil is everything that god is NOT. And no, Satan and evil are inferior to God in power because it lacks truth and love. God has complete control over Satan and his fate is sealed forever.

I definitaly believe that Satin is responsible for the evil. But I believe God is even more powerful. Sure, there is so much evil going on now, but there is nowhere to go from here except for things to get better.

There is no Satan. There is only God. God created us from Itself, thus, we are part of God. Everything else, including evil, is illusion, has no power, can harm nothing. We remain perfectly as created, with only God and all of God's love. Only this.

New creation is made from recycling
old energy.
It follows, that a spirit of distain and
destruction is needed before new
worlds can be created.

I'm not an authority on Good vs Evil.
But, I do know that without the human
element, change would never happen.
And without the spirit of God, we would
never get to see a day we have never
seen before.

Hindu religion says "Good" and "Bad" both emnates from Brahmam(TAT) only (Brahmam is above G-OD=GOD) .So Tat is Dharmam= Righteousness and Adharmam=non-righteous ness--Tat is Gjnaanam=enlightenment and Agjnaanam(intellectual) darkness(Tamas)--Tat is Agoram=Handsome/Beautiful--Tat is Goram=Ugly--likewise 8 each of Positive and Negative Bhavanas are talked of in Saankyam(Kapila Muni's Gloss-)If one folows Positive Bhavanas there is upward transgression for the Soul -otherwise the Soul travels in negative transgression-from Human to Larva.

1 John 5:19 states the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.
God has indeed, stepped back and allowed Satan to try to prove his point.
Hopefully, people like you will conduct themselves in such a way as to prove the devil a liar.

God isn't responsible for all the good in the world. We don't give ourselves enough credit. Unless you're someone who believes we don't have freewill I don't see how anyone could even think that.
