hardwood or laminate cause we have 3 dogs in the house, 2 pups, and one big dog so which and why

Laminate is good or hardwood with aluminum oxide finish. We have three dogs and two cats. Have Hickory flooring with aluminum oxide finish. It is holding up very well. We put laminate in the laudry room which is also the dogs room and it is doing well also.

I have both types of flooring and a big dog. There is not one scratch on the laminate from her, but many on the wood floors.

Hardwood will scratch very easily. Go with the laminate.
