Do dermatoligsts help with acne? or should i just continue treating acne by myself?

Yes, they are very helpful. If you are really having a problem go see one. They can give you topical med's to clear up your skin fast and prescription meds if you need them. My brother was racked with pimples, he went and his face cleared up totally in a couple of months and has been wonderful since even though he stopped the treatments years ago. I would go if I had a problem because pimples scar your face and that is forever then you will need to see the dermatoligist for the scaring. Remember, whatever the cost YOU are worth it.. Good luck.

Yes they can pin point but you can try these remedies first .

They can be helpful to get rid of them, depends on how bad your acne problem is. You could get an appointment to see what they say.

I guess it depends. I can say from first hand expernce that my dermatologist didnt help me at all. I had to take matters into my own hands, and I got proactiv, its amazing, if need be you should try it.
